Note: Cardinal's Nest AM Latchkey provides services for children 3 or 4 years of age and attending Cardinal's Nest Preschool. Latchkey services are housed at the Cardinal's Nest, located at 1490 North Oak Road in the Cardinal Center. Morning services begin at 6am and run until the start of the school day.
Before care is available Monday through Friday on student days, a minimum enrollment of 2 days per week is required.
During latchkey, staff oversee and engage with children, exposing them to learning activities, arts and crafts, sports, games and outdoor play in a developmentally appropriate environment. A one time pre-registration fee (per school year) and completion of a pre-registration packet is required before services can begin. There are 10 sessions per school year, students must register for each individual session in order to attend. Registration deadlines are approximately 1-2 weeks before each session begins. Pre-registration and subsequent tuition/session payments are processed online through the Davison Community Schools/DCER website. All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration and prior to the start of each session. Refunds will not be issued to students who withdraw after the payment deadline and/or no shows. Partial refunds/credits will not be given once a student has already attended a session. All payments received after the deadline will result in a $10 late fee.
